Making sense of your story—so you can live it differently

Making sense of your story—so you can live it differently

I help people get unstuck from the weight of old wounds, addictions, or whatever’s been keeping them pinned—and guide them back to what matters most, taking real steps forward. When we notice how our mind turns away from pain, we can pause, stay with it, and choose what happens next instead of just reacting.
Together, we’ll trace the beliefs and habits that shaped you—keeping what still serves you and loosening what doesn’t. I primarily draw on Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) to build awareness, work through what’s been holding you back, and turn that insight into everyday change that feels grounded and doable.
Therapy, to me, is about genuine connection—trust, honesty, and shared direction. We move at your pace, with room for reflection and challenge. I’ll meet you where you are and help you take steps toward where you want to be. I’m right there with you.
My goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care for people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, dissociation, life transitions, and other challenges. Therapy is tailored to your needs, experiences, and goals, with an emphasis on developing greater awareness, resilience, and practical ways of responding to difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
Mindfulness is woven throughout my work as a practical way of developing greater awareness of thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations without becoming as caught up in or reactive to them. This awareness can create more space to respond intentionally, remain connected to the present moment, and move toward what matters to you.
Over the years, I have developed a collection of visual, audio, and educational resources gathered through clinical practice, professional trainings, and continued learning. When helpful, I share relevant resources to support mindfulness practice and reinforce what we are working on together outside of sessions.
My approach draws from evidence-based and trauma-informed therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR. Together, we may work toward greater psychological flexibility, process experiences that continue to carry emotional weight, and help you move toward a life that feels more aligned with what matters to you.
When appropriate, reprocessing work may be used to reduce distress connected to past experiences and support more adaptive ways of relating to them in the present. Integration and meaning-making can help carry insights from therapy beyond the session and into everyday life.
I also have training in complementary and integrative approaches that may inform our work when clinically appropriate and consistent with your individual goals, preferences, and readiness.
